Antique Timbers
Hand
Hewn - Hand fashioned over a
century ago, the faces of these
timbers still display the historic broad
ax or adze marks that shaped them.
Mortice pockets, notches, tenon holes
and sometimes hand carved pegs serve
as a stylish testament to the age and experiences of this wood.
Species vary.
Wasn't so easy "back then".
Re-sawn - These are the original sawn sizes from whence
they came. Some still showing
the saw marks after years and years of weathering.
Sawn to size - Beams are sawn out to
customer/builder specs.
